ImageMagick for OS2008

Today I was thinking...that when someone asks, one should answer :)
So here it is...

ImageMagick 6.3.7-9 (latest, to day) version ported to OS2008.

Here it is the "Click to Install" file.

Really great job.
Any chance for a IM port for OS2006, OS2007 for older machines ?

I wonder if there is a python GUI-front end that might run on OS2008

I have installed image app on my n810, but it doesn't show up in any of my program folders. Is there a trick to openning the program?

ImageMagick is a set of command line utilities.
There's a GUI for it (that's in the package too), but I didn't hildonize it so I did not put a menu entry for it.

I mainly ported (i.e. recompiled) it just to allow other people to use it thru python or other libraries...

@darius: someone on the InternetTabletTalk forum was going to port it to those platform. It still is in my TODO list, but it has a low priority.
As soon as I'll configure my development enviroment to be able to generate packages for IT OS2006 and IT OS2007, I'll do the ports myself.
