ImageMagick for OS2008
Today I was thinking...that when someone asks, one should answer :) So here it is...
ImageMagick 6.3.7-9 (latest, to day) version ported to OS2008.
ImageMagick is a set of command line utilities. There's a GUI for it (that's in the package too), but I didn't hildonize it so I did not put a menu entry for it.
I mainly ported (i.e. recompiled) it just to allow other people to use it thru python or other libraries...
@darius: someone on the InternetTabletTalk forum was going to port it to those platform. It still is in my TODO list, but it has a low priority. As soon as I'll configure my development enviroment to be able to generate packages for IT OS2006 and IT OS2007, I'll do the ports myself.
could you please check the link? I was trying to wget it after failing to install through the link... there seems to be no "http://mango.dia.unisa.it/maemo"

Really great job.
Any chance for a IM port for OS2006, OS2007 for older machines ?
I wonder if there is a python GUI-front end that might run on OS2008
I have installed image app on my n810, but it doesn't show up in any of my program folders. Is there a trick to openning the program?
